Hot Sfuff

I went to the thrift shop that belongs to the women's hospital to drop off some donations. After dropping them off I went into the store to look around because many times they will have nice fabrics and other sewing things. I came across this small iron. I guess you would call it a travel iron. I almost took it but decided that I had no real use for it. Well to make a short story long, next day I was working at a quilt show and one of the lady's had a very similar iron. She kept it right next to the sew machine and it was the perfect size. I went to the thrift shop the next day hoping to buy the iron and of course it was gone. I was so disappointed. Two or three days later I was still having trouble getting over that iron so I went back to the shop to see if I could find another one. What are the chances of finding another small iron.

Oh my God! There it was. Another small iron. It was so cute. It was really old, like an antique almost, but in great condition. It got really hot and it even had a small water bottle attached to it for steam ironing. I only paid $4 for it. Unbelievable. I certainly consider it a gift.
